Help choose what game Bay Preps Insider will cover on an action-packed Friday night by voting in the biggest poll yet! Vote on the linked Google Form (because I still don’t have the functionality to embed it) before 2 p.m. Friday.
The 13 options available for your choosing are:
Bellarmine (14-6, 5-5 WCAL) visiting Sacred Heart Cathedral (9-11, 2-8). The Bells won the first meeting by 26, but trips to Ellis Street are always difficult for San Jose teams.
Christopher (18-2, 8-0 BVAL Mount Hamilton) looking to stay perfect in league play against high-scoring Santa Teresa (10-11, 4-5).
De La Salle (22-3, 7-1 EBAL) visiting California (21-4, 6-2). It’s Senior night for the Grizzlies, while the Spartans can clinch at least a share of the EBAL title with a win.
Dougherty Valley (19-6, 7-1 EBAL) visiting rival Dublin (21-4, 5-3). Not only is it a rematch of last year’s NCS Division I Championship, it’s sure to be a tense atmosphere as UC Davis commit Jalen Stokes returns to face his former team.
Half Moon Bay (15-6, 6-3 PAL Bay) visiting Carlmont (12-9, 8-1). The Scots are tied for the league lead after last Friday’s one-point win at Menlo-Atherton.
King’s Academy (17-4, 6-1 WBAL) visiting Sacred Heart Prep (13-6, 6-1) with outright possession of first place on the line. The Knights won the first meeting 66-62 on Jan. 24, but lost at Priory on Tuesday.
Los Gatos (15-5, 5-3 SCVAL De Anza) visiting Mountain View (10-11, 4-5). The Spartans won the first meeting back on Jan. 17, but that was without Wildcats star Scotty Brennan.
Monte Vista (16-9, 4-4 EBAL) visiting San Ramon Valley (18-7, 7-1). Not only is it Senior Night for a memorable and decorated class, it’ll also be the Wolves’ first game since the passing of longtime coach Hans De Lannoy.
Priory (16-5, 5-2 WBAL) hoping to sweep host Menlo (13-8, 3-4 WBAL) and stay in the hunt for the West Bay crown.
San Mateo (17-4, 9-0 PAL Ocean) hoping to close in on a league title at El Camino (15-6, 5-4).
St. Ignatius (15-5, 8-2 WCAL) trying to win at Mitty (11-9, 4-6) for the first time since 2018 and sweep the Monarchs for the first time since 2014.
Urban (16-9, 5-4 BCL West) looking to snap a 10-game skid against University (15-9, 6-2) and end the Red Devils’ hopes for a league title.
Valley Christian (15-5, 6-4 WCAL) trying to win at Serra (12-8, 3-7) and sweep the Padres for the first time in over two decades.
Voting closes at 2 p.m. Friday. Thank you for voting and for your continued enthusiasm!
