Hogan Makes History in Bruce-Mahoney Win
St. Ignatius' senior running back broke a league record at Kezar Stadium.
Jarious Hogan was a regular at the Bruce-Mahoney Game throughout his childhood, tossing footballs and running around the hills behind the end zones at Kezar Stadium.
The kids playing on those hills on Friday night will try to one day follow in Hogan’s footsteps after the St. Ignatius senior’s history-making performance in the Wildcats’ 45-28 win over Sacred Heart Cathedral.
“Man, it’s amazing,” Hogan said after setting a new West Catholic Athletic League record with six touchdowns in a game. “I’m thankful for my coaching staff, my line and my whole team for giving me this type of chance.”
