Inside-The-Park Grand Slam Powers Menlo to Victory
It was the offense's turn to pick up the pitching for the Knights.
This time, it was the offense that did the heavy lifting for Menlo.
The Knights did get a third straight complete game from Jackson Flanagan, but an offense that’s labored through much of the season erupted for 18 hits, including KC Chavinson’s inside-the-park grand slam in the fourth inning, as Menlo (14-8, 9-1 PAL Ocean) maintained its spot atop the league standings with an 8-3 victory over the Half Moon Bay Cougars.
