Saturday night’s game between the Capuchino Mustangs and Burlingame Panthers wasn’t just for a share of the PAL De Anza crown. It was also the unofficial district championship.
Most school districts don’t have any official role in governing California high school football. But with a 21-7 win on Senior Night, Capuchino now finds itself as the top dog out of the six schools that comprise the San Mateo Union High School District.
